Marion-Sterling students brought The Lion King to life before a standing-room only crowd March 4 at Cuyahoga Community College main campus.
“Our students were outstanding, performing with poise, professionalism, and absolute joy,” says Cathy Kopinsky, project coordinator at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, who works with the neighborhood and school.
She also commended teacher/director Megan Kasarda, choreographer Chrissy Williams, and costume designer Raeshaunna Garner for all their time and effort to making it happen and showing their love for the students.
Some of the Marion-Sterling students also joined students from four other schools in a joint performance of the musical numbers at the Cleveland Playhouse on March 7.
A special thanks to Zelma Brown, Adrianna Chestnut, Cathy Kopinsky, and Joe Black for sharing the pictures.
