In an ongoing partnership with Cleveland Metropolitan School District, Cleveland Transformation Alliance and Tri-C, Promise is providing support and education to families who have children with IEP’s. On March 4, 2017, we are hosting a pancake breakfast to further educate families on the important role parents play in the special education process.
The Parent University event will educate family and community members on how to serve as an academic advocate for their child and or a child in the community. During this event, we will also be recruiting Central Promise Educational Partners. Educational Partners will support and help families navigate educational resources within the schools in the Central Promise Neighborhood. They will also help families identify and access quality academic support.
